What we do with your details.
This is a small shop and a small website. What follows is the whole of it, in plain language.
What this site collects
Two things, and only when you type them in:
- An order request. Your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you tell us about the order: what you want, when you want it, how many people it has to feed. We use it to call you back about that order and for nothing else.
- The counter list. Your email address, if you ask to hear when something worth a special trip lands. You can take yourself off the list at any time.
Both are stored in a database we run on Cloudflare. When you send an order request we also record a shortened one-way hash of your IP address, which is used to stop automated abuse of the form. It cannot be turned back into your address, and the address itself is never stored.
What this site does not do
- We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone.
- No payment is ever taken through this website. Everything is paid for at the counter.
Analytics and advertising
This site uses Google Analytics and Google Ads. Between them they record which pages people read, and whether someone who arrived from one of our ads went on to send an order request. Both set cookies in your browser, and both send that activity to Google, whose own policies govern it from that point on.
We use it to understand what people come here looking for, and to judge whether our advertising is worth running. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not sell or share what it collects with anyone else.
If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on, and blocking cookies in your browser settings stops it as well.
How long we keep it
Order requests are kept while they are useful to us, typically a couple of years, so we can look up what we cut for you last Christmas. Counter-list addresses are kept until you take yourself off the list. Ask us to delete either at any time and we will.
Notifications about your order are sent by Cloudflare on our behalf. The address you give us is shared with them only to deliver that message.

If this policy changes we will update this page. There is no version history to check; the page you are reading is the current one.
